Cypher's stats

So, Jared has finished Basic Training... even though we all had some doubts! lol JUST KIDDING!!!!! Anyway, he is now at Fort Lee, Virginia working on his AIT... He won't be back home until February, but don't worry guys... I am sending him the xbox in a week or two and he will soon be back in full swing... well, around class times of course! So, for all who miss Cypher01... have no fear, he will be reporting back to duty shortly... That's my small update just in case on of you still reads this damn thing!

Absence of the Cypher01

As most of you know, Jared has left the building. He shipped out on the 28th of August and won't be returning to game land until February 10th-ish... We don't have an address for him yet. My TWO MINUTE phone call they let him make to me was a few days ago. He let me know that he has no forwarding address yet because he was still at reception, but he should be heading down range as of today (Sept 2.)! As soon as I get an address I will post it here (not like anyone reads this thing anyway!) Besides, you will all have to send mail because for every letter he gets he has mandatory of at least 10 push ups depending on the size of the letter! I laugh because I already have two twenty page letters ready to send out when I get his address and more to come... He will def. come back bulkier...if that is possible...He might actually weigh more then our three year old! lol If anyone wants me to send his info to their email let me know and I will be more then willing. For those who don't know, the notorious Cypher01 is Jared Golson...in case the last name was unknown of course. In the meantime, if I can afford to, i will try and open up my gamertag again so that you can at least settle for the HotMama while the Cypher is gone. That's about it guys! Oh, and Shadow, a very late congrats on the little bundle of lovin and joy! lol! Geez, thanks for telling us, by the way. (j/k)

Upcoming Article

I know most of you haven't been to this page in a while. We hope to get it up and running again with an upcoming article that will be posted at least once a week called "Whiskey's Daily Rant". I think we all can agree that will be something to look forward too. I will also try to get the profiles updated so they look like melvins. After conducting interviews with each member to make sure I have their game preferences right I will update them one at a time.

Ummm Hello!

Where is everyone? What? Was this whole blog thing popular for about a week and then Cypher was able to get back online xbox style so now no one has time for it? How about some name calling, friendly banter, or polls or something? I will start.... Hmmmmm...... Cypher only thinks he's got game, when ya'll aren't thinking any other wise I take over the controls and help him out. You think I am playing, but pay attention...when he starts playing better each round, ask him if I am around... see what he says! Oh, and he is a homosexual sometimes. I learned not to say that in anger management... turns out saying it makes me feel better! lol

Battlefield

OK! Well I think most of us if not all of us have tried the battlefield demo now. So its time for another poll. Also please leave comments of what you like or don't like about the game.

Update

Melvin I have seen your request for the member template and I think its a good Idea. I will wait till a few more people sign in to the page and then replace the list with templates just for the people who are listed as authors. Also Whiskey now has BFBC demo downloaded and so does chaos. We are going to try to play on Tuesday after Whiskey wakes up if anybody else is interested in playing let me know. Because its a demo we can only assemble a 4 person squad but if enough people want to play we can divide into two equal squads and search for separate rooms and then we can compare notes on what we think about the game later. Please post a comment and let me know if you are interested in playing on Tuesday.

Battlefield

I just downloaded the "Battlefield bad company" demo and the online play is actually pretty good. If everybody is interested lets all hook up on the demo this weekend and play. In the demo you can rank up and if you reach level 4 if you decide to buy the game your lvl.4 on the demo unlocks a special weapon on the game that you normally wouldn't get till lvl. 25. Missing Members

Let's not forget our good buddies that haven't made the members list (Dante, Moody). They're both in Iraq?

The pics that I have put on the page are strategically placed to give the page a gaming atmosphere without cluttering it. feel free to delete any of them and replace them with new pics. that way we can keep a constant flow of pics without turning the page into nothing but a big mural.

Maintenance Confirmed

Sorry chaos I removed your blown up post. I also deleted my poll about the match up between Shadow, Dave, Chaos, Melvin, Savage, and Hotmama to try and make room for other peoples polls. The winner was Melvin with 2 votes. I am currently borrowing Whiskey's Xbox and Thanks to Savage's 1 Month free trial card I am back on-line. Thank you to every one who has over the course of this last year helped me out in keeping me online with the group.

Maintenance Needed

Hey Cypher, please clean (or collapse) the posts, especially chaos' giant one. I'm illiterate with the html stuff. Also, is there anyway we can hook up a live chat space? Show who's currently logged? I haven't been on for a month, I've been extremely busy trying to get my gpa past 3.0 (after 160+ cred hours, moving it .15 is a bitch! I'll see you guys on in another week. Haven't seen Cull post. Where my dog at?

I've seen a few remarks about editing and post polls. I have just granted everyone admin. rights so you can now post pics, polls, rearrange the page and edit postings. Please be respectful and don't tamper with others postings but I do hope you have fun with the creative liberty this will give you with this page. after you sign in go to the top right corner of the page where it says customize. Click on it. now go to layout. to post a blog click on "add element", then choose if your addind a video, poll, a list, or any of the other options it has there. Once you have created what you wanted you can click and drag it on the layout screen to where you want it to appear on the page. HAVE FUN.

It was a mistake giving me posting privileges. Now you must all suffer.

After helping Bigdave get his account going as an author for this page I realized that it doesn't quite work the way that I thought it would. After you accept the invite in your e-mail you will be able to post blogs on this page, but I think that is all you can do. send me an e-mail if you would like a pic of something added and I will try to check it regularly so that I can keep up with this page. If you decide to post a blog like: "I would like to organize a late night game of R6V on 05-13-08" then everybody can respond as a comment under it saying; "yes" or "no". however if you would like me to make it into a poll so you can get an easy count of how many people will show up, just leave a comment for me one of the post and I will place another poll so everyone can easily vote and you can have an easy count of how many to expect online for your big game night. Also if you have any ideas for some fun polls like " Who wears the pants in the relationship?" : hotmamaX3 or Cypher01. Let me know and I will try to post a new poll weekly. Also if theres a game coming out that you are wondering how many TNP members are going to buy it, let me know and we'll take a poll. I will do my best to try to keep this page up to date. right now while my Xbox is broken this page has become my hobby sort of I will try to make it fun and useful for everyone.

Posting

Right now I am the only one who can post blogs, polls, and pics. Leave me a comment attached to this blog that includes your gamertag so I know who you are and include your e-mail address so I can send you an invite to be a co-author for this page. Eventually all of TNP will be included on the author list and will be able to post blogs, polls, pics, and videos. I just ask that once you have access that you do not change the overall page setup.

Welcome TNP

over the course of this next month I am going to try to get everybody's e-mail address and mail out invitations to become an author for this page. being an author will allow you to post blogs, add pictures, and change the settings of this page. I hope to be able to make this page an easy way to leave messages for the entire clan to try to schedule massive game nights when everyone will be on and we can have the whole team playing together. Whether it be Rainbow Six, Call of Duty, GTA, or Gears of War 2. we can make suggestions for what games to buy. This page will be almost like a TNP only "myspace". I would like to make a little ranking system, just for fun, and elect a team leader from one of the four founders of TNP, and from there the leader will assign ranks to everyone else. I will then organize the ranks to be displayed on this page. Once we have ranks established, just to make it worth something we will say that whenever we have too many of us online at one time, lowest rank goes to the other team. Thats just an idea. Post something and let me know what your input is.
